LEADERSHIP EFFECTIVENESS
In the context of the company's strategy and goals, a Leadership Effectiveness Review provides a clearer roadmap for executives running divisions, or leaders of small to medium businesses, on what is needed to improve their impact.
Neutrality and strategic insight is the unique difference we offer. Our process provides leaders 'in-the-moment' guidance for their long-term success. By holding up a 'mirror' we assist the leader focus, plan and be more effective than he or she may be able to do alone. The Leadership Effectiveness Review consists of a series of face-to-face, one-on-one confidential interviews with selected reports or contacts in a safe environment. Using our unique methodology we:
- Uncover overall leadership practice with patterns of interaction and behaviour
- Reveal perceptions of how well things are working
- Outline individual strengths and how they are effective or less effective
- Outline what could be done differently
- Identify future challenges, priorities and competing demands in managing the business
- Identify forward-looking directions for improving leadership
- Examine what helps and hinders collaboration and interpersonal cooperation.
At the end of the review a confidential summary on the material themes and trends is prepared so that the leader can apply the content to their own situation and develop a list of actions. A personal and private debriefing coaching discussion will further guide interpretation, uncover causes and recommend individual or collective actions. The Leadership Effectiveness Review provides strategic leadership development, a constructive view of strengths effectiveness, hones management tactics and improves team engagement.
As one client said “... very, very positive about the process and the insight got from it ... the whole team felt comfortable that the task was in good hands ... look forward to staying in touch.”
We also use our ‘In The Executive Suite’ questionnaire targeted for senior executives and other tools as part of the coaching conversation.
